Reportedly from IHINA, memorandum of understanding was signed between Iran Health Insurance Organization and Sila Group of Turkey with the aim of transferring experiences and technical knowledge in the field of electronic organization.
Taher Muhebati stated that this MOU was not the first cooperation of Turkey with Iran. The health system of two countries is similar and this is one of the strengths and advantages of our cooperation with Turkey.
He added:”Electronic organization has been considered as the most important goal of health insurance system. At present, with the use of engineering capabilities in the country, good actions has been begun in Kerman and Isfahan as pilot which will help to the establishment of electronic organization in IHIO.”
Managing Director of IHIO said: “One of the important topics in IT was to use technical expertise of countries with a similar health system to Iran. For the same reason, a team from the Ministry of Health and IHIO went to Turkey. Reports indicate Turkey's success in establishing electronic health system.”
He alsostated:”Turkey has used paperless system in healthcare for 15 years and we hope this MOU will be implemented in less than three years.”
