It is necessary to use the experiences of successful countries in the field of health insurance
The meeting of representatives of Iran Health Insurance Organization and World Health Organization was held with the goal of expanding communication in the office of World Health Organization in Tehran.
Reportedly from IHINA, this meeting was held to expand communication with World Health Organization on January 13th, 2019 in the office of WHO.
Dr. Christopher Hamelman, Representative of World Health Organization, Dr. Haghdoost, Deputy of Planning and Coordination, Dr. Safikhani, Vice of Deputy of Planning and Coordination of the Minister of Health, Dr. Adyani, Deputy of Health Service, Dr. Shojaee, Head of National Center for Health Insurance Research, Mr. Mirshahvalad, Deputy of Director General in Public Relations and International Affairs of Iran Health Insurance Organization Were present in this meeting.
Various topics were shared with Mr. Michael Thiede, an authority in health economics and health insurance system from the University of Berlin, Germany, in this teleconference meeting.
It has been decided that with the help of World Health Organization, the experiences of Federal Republic of Germany and the other successful countries in the field of health insurance are considered and also the Countries with priority in cooperating with Iran, are determined.
It was also suggested that scientific workshops and meetings will be held to present these issues. At the end of the meeting, on bilateral cooperation was emphasized.
